ALE - Adult Lego Enthusiast (substitue for AFOL)

BL - Short for BrickLink

Dark Ages - Periods in one's life one spends without LEGO®-derived joy

MOC - My Own Creation

SNOT - A building technique standing for "studs not on top"

TLG - The LEGO Group

Vig (or Vignette) - A small LEGO® scene built on a small base (usually 6x6 or 8x8).
